Annual membership carries real benefits — The Stagecoach quarterly newsletter, store discounts, free use of the Library and Archives, and free or reduced admission to tours and programs. Choose the level that fits your budget.
What your dues do
Membership funds help the Shasta Historical Society fulfil its mission, care for the collections, and put on the exhibits, tours and programs you come for. Every level below includes the same core benefits; the higher levels add to them.

General membership

| Senior / Student Individual | $40 | All core benefits. Seniors 65 and over; students with valid ID. |
| Individual | $50 | All core benefits for one person. |
| Senior Family | $50 | Senior Individual benefits for up to 2 adults aged 65+ and children under 18. |
| Family | $60 | Individual benefits for up to 2 adults and children under 18. |
| Friend | $100 | All Family benefits, plus two discounted tickets to the annual fundraiser. |
| Prospector | $200 | All Friend benefits, plus membership in the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) program. |
| Historian | $500 | All Prospector benefits, plus acknowledgement in the SHS Annual Report, newsletter and Facebook page. |
| Director’s Circle | $1,000 | All Historian benefits, plus an invitation to a special biannual program with the Board Chair. |
Prospector members and above join the North American Reciprocal Museum program, with access to over 900 institutions across North America, Bermuda and El Salvador.
