Support the Society
The Shasta Historical Society is a major center for the collection, research and education of Shasta County history — and it runs on the generosity of people like you. Give to the fund that matters to you, or put your name on an exhibit, program or publication.
Why your gift matters
The Society has an extensive impact on the local area and is always looking for new and improved ways to reach the community through its work. Donations are a vital source of revenue for collections care, program offerings and facility improvements.
There are many ways to give. You can contribute to the General Fund, or direct your gift toward a fund that means something special to you.

Help our exhibits, programs and events strike gold
The Society is looking for community partners to help expand the variety of exhibits, programs and events offered each year.
Becoming a sponsor does not only support us — it allows us to support you. Putting your name, or your company name, on one of our activities increases your visibility among an important targeted audience, shows your support for the community, and helps the Society fulfill its mission to bring history to life for Shasta County.
Exhibit, program and event sponsors have their name and/or logo included in all marketing materials for the chosen activity, plus acknowledgement at and during the event. Benefits for printed publications vary — see each application form for details.
